FULL FAT PLAIN YOGURT
Our plain yogurt is
made purely from cow milk unlike most other brands. We do not add powdered milk
or protein to concentrate the texture, our thick texture is the result of hours
of patient stirring and accurate temperature control during incubation.
We take great care in
the selection of the right milk, accepting only milk that comes from LOCAL,
pasture-raised grass-fed cows of certified organic farms we regularly enjoy
visiting. We do not let our milk undergo industrial process such as
pasteurization or homogenization that, as recent studies show, alter the
structure of the molecules in the milk, causing intolerances or adverse
reactions to the elixir nature provides in abundance.
The sterilization
happens gently whilst being stirred for more than 45 minutes at 85 C. The
successive rapid inoculation with live cultures of just Lactobacillus
Bulgaricus, and Streptococcus Thermophilus enhances the strong
probiotic property of our yogurt and inhibits the formation of harmful
bacterial cultures.
Therefore, like all
100% natural products, shelf life is only 1 week, but in all honesty, who can
resist a week before finishing this supreme delicacy.
